Alors que les défis d’accès à l’eau potable et à l’assainissement progressent au rythme de l’évolution démographique et de l’intensification de la sécheresse en Afrique de l’Est, le Malawi et le Soudan du Sud réitèrent leurs engagements à garantir l’accès universel de leurs populations à ces services essentiels d’ici à 2030. Le 21 août 2023, les gouvernements des deux pays ont lancé des pactes présidentiels sur l’eau et l’assainissement.
